North Tabor As A Name
Our neighborhood was formed by geologic activity from Mount Tabor. We are on the slope of a dormant volcano. The Laurelhurst Neighborhood was also more than likely shaped by volcanic activity from Tabor. This history happened way before neighborhoods were platted.
North Tabor would be a fine name for the NE 60th & Glisan MAX station.

Here's an interesting article on the history of the area:
http://www.mttaborpdx.org/history_early_years.html
From the article:
At one time, the Mt. Tabor area included all of the area east of 20th Ave. as far as Russellville (SE 102nd & Stark) and between Sullivan’s Gulch (Banfield Freeway) and Section Line Road (SE Division) on the south.
