    CENTER Heritage Trees

The Heritage Tree ordinance became part of the Portland City code on May 19, 1993, and the first Heritage Trees were designated in 1994. In CENTER we currently have three heritage trees. Many more trees qualify for heritage status. If you know of a tree you feel should be protected get in contact with our friends of trees coordinator today. fot@centerpdx.org

Why not go for a tree tour of our neighborhood, and if you happen to take some pictures email them over so we can post them online.

Center neighborhood trees can be found at:
5104 NE Flanders #214 American sweetgum, Liquidambar styraciflua
    221 NE 45 #153 #154 American hop-hornbeam, Ostrya virginiana
